From a 16-ton LED staircase in a Toronto library to a 60-ton sculptural stair in a commercial complex, each project below shows how TAKANO turns a designer's intent into a fabricated, shipped and installed reality. Every stair is pre-assembled in our Foshan factory before it leaves the floor.
Designer Co-creation — Italian Designer Project
A curved spiral staircase co-created with a renowned Italian designer. With mature steel-structure processing, we fully restored the original artistic concept — 1:1 detailing, no compromise modifications. Our scope covered drawing deepening, structural calculation, anti-corrosion treatment, modular fabrication and overseas installation guidance.
Highlight: worldwide high-end villa and commercial space projects; single-vendor end-to-end control.
Toronto Public Library, Canada
A heavy curved steel staircase weighing 50 tons, fabricated in two sections from 12 mm-thick steel plate. High-definition LED display modules are seamlessly embedded into the treads, merging structural steel with digital media. Factory-prefabricated for on-site assembly, with outdoor-grade waterproofing and load-bearing integration solved on the production line.
Poly High-end Clubhouse, China
A well-known Poly Development project designed by a leading Chinese design institute. Our scope covered detail deepening, fabrication and delivery coordination for a custom spiral staircase, curved steel structure, bronze-tone metal finish, screens and railing details.
Sophia Group Headquarters
11 custom spiral staircases for a corporate headquarters. Each stair has a 3.6 m structural span and acts as a strong visual focal point. Class-I welding standard across all sets.
Jinbo Group Commercial Complex
A staircase solution for commercial complex renovation and durability upgrade. Tight project management and rapid delivery secured the client's opening schedule. Before-and-after comparison available on request.
Wyndham Hotel (5-star)
A refined spiral staircase combining artistry and functionality for a hotel lobby. Detailed craftsmanship — finished surfaces, glass guardrails, lit handrails — lifts the spatial quality and project value.
CSCEC Third Bureau — Transportation Hub
Customized steel-structure staircases for a major transportation hub. Strict safety standards, durability requirements and successful project acceptance.
CSCEC Eighth Bureau
Staircases designed to building safety codes for comfortable, everyday passage. The detailing integrates with the architectural language and complex site conditions.
China Resources Group — Commercial Real Estate
A heavy steel-structure staircase weighing approximately 60 tons — a bold breakthrough in heavy fabrication. Modular segmented lifting on site, combining commercial practicality with a minimalist modern aesthetic.
Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center — Cultural & Art Center
A horn-shaped steel spiral staircase for a cultural and art center. The project shows the integration of architecture, structure and artistic craftsmanship.
